Richmond Ballpark District
The Richmond Ballpark Initiative reviewed several sites around the city in an effort to replace an aging minor league ballpark. This urban design and concept architecture study focused on integrating a new AAA ballpark within the historic Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. The scheme identified neighborhood structures suitable for renovation and provided new housing designed in character with the historic area and conveniently located near the downtown business district.
