Memphis Cook Convention Center to Receive Major Facelift

The Architect's Newspaper - Renovations to the Memphis Cook Convention Center are part of Memphis' larger citywide Bicentennial Gateway Project to celebrate 200 years in 2019. Updates will include an expanded footprint, outdoor terraces with views to the river and downtown skyline, improved exhibition hall with increased breakout space, a new grand entrance and sky bridge, expanded back-of-house access, cosmetic changes to the 2,100-seat Canon Center for the Performing Arts, and expanded opportunities for public art. Memphis Business Journal - We're honored to have been involved with three projects selected as finalists in the Memphis Business Journal's 2018 Building Memphis competition. Church Health at Crosstown Concourse is a finalist in the Best Renovation Large category, the University of Memphis' Laurie-Walton Family Basketball Center in the Best New Construction Large category, and the Medical District Streetscape Improvements project in the Best Renovation Small category. Two LRK Projects Awarded Best in American Living Awards

Two LRK projects were awarded 2017 Best in American Living Awards (BALA) by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Bexley won a Platinum Award in the Single-Family Community 100 Units & Over category and The Chisca on Main received a Gold Award in the Adaptive Reuse Multifamily category. We are excited to announce three LRK projects were named finalists in the 2017 NAHB Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Awards program. The Michael in Austin, Texas was a finalist in the Best Garden Apartment Community (4 stories or less) category. Azul Baldwin Park in Orlando and Tate at Tanglewood in Houston were both honored in the Best Low Rise Apartment Community (non-garden, 5 stories or less) category.
