Crosstown Concourse Selected as Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence Finalist

The Rudy Bruner Awards for Excellence (RBA) announced the finalists for its 2019 Gold and Silver medal prizes. For the past 30 years, the RBA design competition has recognized transformative places that contribute to the economic, environmental, and social vitality of American cities. LRK Welcomes Chad Boardman to Philadelphia Office

LRK is excited to announce that Chad Boardman has joined the Philadelphia office as a project architect. Boardman joins LRK with more than 12 years of experience in commercial, education, and residential architecture, including: senior living, mixed-income, and market-rate housing. Boardman is currently contributing his expertise to an LRK-designed high-rise residential apartment tower in Houston’s Museum District. read more »

Historic U.S. Marine Hospital Soon To Be Renovated

Daily Memphian - Construction is expected to commence in April or May on the U.S. Marine Hospital renovation. The project consists of three brick buildings: the 75,000-square-foot main hospital and a 15,000-square-foot maintenance structure built in the 1930s and a 4,500-square-foot nurses' quarters built in the 1880s. The buildings will provide 71 multifamily units including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Memphis Business Journal – LRK is honored to have been involved with six projects selected as finalists in the Memphis Business Journal's 2019 Building Memphis competition. The Crosstown Arts Theatre and FedExFamilyHouse, Phase II are both finalists in the Best New Construction Medium category, Memphis Rox is a finalist in the Best Renovation Medium category, and ServiceMaster Headquarters, South Main Artspace Lofts, and the Tennessee Brewery are finalists in the Best Renovation Large category.
