LRK Announces New Senior Associates

Christopher Janson, RA - Located in LRK’s Dallas office, Chris is an urban designer and architect who strives to successfully bridge the two disciplines. His expertise is in taking his architectural-scale experience and knowledge of building types and using it to shape his approach to urban design-scale projects. This skill has made him a leader in the exploration of innovative urban building types and sustainability from building to city-wide scales. His experience working with both private and public sector clients has enabled him to gain a strong understanding of the key issues for successful project implementation from the builder’s, developer’s, and local jurisdiction’s perspective.
Jodi Davis, IIDA, NEWH, LEED GA - Jodi joined LRK's Memphis office in 2015 and brings with her over 16 years of interior design experience. Skilled in all aspects of the design process, her detailed-oriented strength is evident in the project management and client relations of projects she works on. Her experience covers a broad range of project types including hospitality, restaurants, healthcare, commercial, multifamily and student housing. Jodi takes a conscientious approach to the client’s financial and functional needs, providing comprehensive, innovative and creative designs.
Jonathan Smith, AIA, LEED AP, CEM, BEMP - Jonathan is a native Memphian and through his career has lived and worked in Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, and Jamaica. He enjoys a collaborative management style, assuring client’s expectations are carried through design to execution by the entire project team. Every day he shares a passion for design, a discipline of research and an integrative vision. His interest in building systems is reflected by multiple certificates in energy and environmental design associations. Representative projects under his guidance are Crosstown Performing Arts Theatre, Crosstown High Gymnasium, Hilton-Curio at Historic Memphis Central Train Station, and Jackson-Wonder Elementary School.
Meredy Dahlgren, LEED AP - Meredy joined LRK’s Memphis interiors studio in 2005. She has strong skills in programming, space planning, concept development, finishes, construction documents, and construction administration. Meredy’s project experience is diverse and includes work on healthcare facilities, corporate offices, banking/financial institutions, and single and multifamily residential. Meredy has a special interest in local Memphis projects as evidenced by her recent work on Crosstown Concourse, Church Health, and FedEx Family House. She is committed to the exploration of new ideas, and a collaborative, ongoing dialogue with all team members to maximize the success of every project.
Scott Nelms, AIA - Since joining LRK in 2005, Scott has proven to be a valuable part of the LRK team in multiple aspects of project delivery including concept design, project design and construction administration. He strives to understand the needs of LRK clients first; and then responds by providing design solutions that combine creativity, efficiency and cost effectiveness. His expertise ranges from single family, mixed-use, light commercial, and theme park projects. He has a passion for residential design that creates quality neighborhoods of timeless character and value, and his most recent project experience includes multiple single family residences in Golden Oak, Florida and Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina.
