LRK's Rebecca Courtney to Speak on "Winning in Leadership Panel"
LRK Principal Rebecca Courtney will participate in Cushman Wakefield | Commercial Advisors’ “Winning in Leadership” discussion panel this Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 a.m. at Rust Hall. WIN (Women’s Integrated Network) is dedicated to development and supporting the talents of women team members so they continue to have a meaningful impact in the workforce and their communities.
Rebecca joined LRK in 1993 and helped build their interiors studio into one of the largest, most accomplished, and highly regarded design teams in the region. She became the firm’s first female principal in 2002. Rebecca believes design should always express the purpose of the place, the vision and values of the people who use it, and the way the place interacts with or presents itself to the community. She has a deep commitment to the collaborative process of program identification and resolution by the client, designer, consultants, contractor, user group and other stakeholders. Rebecca has played a key design role in many notable Memphis projects, such as Crosstown Concourse, Church Health, STAX Museum and Music Academy, FedExForum, the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, FedEx World Technology campus, and currently the Orion Federal Credit Union Headquarters and Memphis Cook Convention Center renovation.
