Affordable Housing News - The LRK-designed Elysian, located in Baton Rouge, is featured in the winter issue of Affordable Housing News. According to the article, The Elysian sets a new standard in the city’s affordable housing stock with an outdoor kitchen and garden, playground, bike storage, and community room and fitness center. Offering convenient access to parks, restaurants, retail and a farmer’s market, The Elysian was also the recent recipient of the 2014 Good Growth Award.
The Preserve at Harveston is a new 1,400-acre pedestrian-oriented TND in Baton Rouge. Inspired by classic southern neighborhoods and streetscapes, phase one of The Preserve at Harveston features gracious homes, a community center, pool, walking trails, a 15-acre park, and lakes, all nestled amongst a nature preserve. LRK provided planning services and architecture for single family homes and the village post office. Phase one is currently under construction.
