Houzz - Recently, a client's "do-all" room was featured by a Houzz editor in the idea book "New This Week: 4 Envy-Inducing Laundry Rooms With Clever Storage."
With the goal of economizing space for both the overall size of the house and circulation space required to access the typical multiple special purpose rooms like the utility, home office, wrapping room, sewing/hobby room, etc., all of these spaces and functions are combined into one “do-all room.”

Carson Looney to Speak at Seaside Prize Event
“Neighborhood Challenges for a Re-Urbanizing Nation” is the theme for this year’s Seaside Prize Housing Symposium being held this weekend from February 20-22. The four-part symposia is led by 2015 Seaside Prize winners Todd Zimmerman and Laurie Volk, champions of New Urbanism.
Looney Ricks Kiss along with other nationally recognized firms with a strong portfolio modeling New Urbanism have been invited to present on various housing topics. J. Carson Looney, founding principal in charge of residential architecture at LRK, will be presenting in a panel to discuss “21st Century Housing for 21st Century Households.”
