Architect Frank Ricks Honored for Career Achievements

The Commercial Appeal -  Frank Ricks was officially elevated to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) College of Fellows at an investiture ceremony at the AIA National Convention in Philadelphia on May 20th. Out of a total AIA membership of over 88,000, there are only 3,200 members distinguished with this honor, and he is one of only 14 living fellows within the AIA Memphis chapter. The article recounts many of the significant projects that Frank has been involved with throughout his career, however according to his peers, his holistic, collaborative approach is what helps set him apart. Frank says that he’s most proud of helping to build community, co-founding the Memphis chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and his support of the University of Memphis architecture department. Frank Ricks Elevated To The AIA College of Fellows

The American Institute of Architects has elevated LRK founding principal Frank Ricks to its College of Fellows. Fellowship is one of the highest honors the AIA bestows, in recognition of notable contributions to the advancement of the profession of architecture. Frank’s elevation recognizes his significant contributions to advancing the standards of architectural education, training and practice. He will be officially inducted at an investiture ceremony at the AIA National Convention in Philadelphia on May 20th. Read more.
