The Daily News - New details are emerging about the renovation of the Hickman Building, now to be known as The Commonwealth. The Commonwealth will feature 5,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, four floors of luxury apartments, and a mix of commercial tenants, including 18,500 square feet set aside for SouthernSun Asset Management. Commercial Appeal - Construction work on the 91-year-old Hickman Building in Downtown Memphis will begin this summer. Vacant for nearly 50 years, the 100,000 square-foot building will house offices, apartments, and retail. LRK is providing architectural and interior design services for the renovation.
