Main to Main Project Boosts Downtown Development

The Commercial Appeal - With the addition to the newly-opened Big River Crossing, the Main to Main project has given a long-overdue facelift to sidewalks, curbs and the pedestrian Main Street Mall, creating a walking and bicycling route for Memphians and tourists to enjoy. Main to Main Construction Begins

The Main Street to Main Street Multi-Modal Connector Project begins construction on the first of five segments - the North Main segment from Henry Avenue to Keel Avenue in Uptown. When all five segments are complete, the improvements will connect Uptown across Harahan Bridge to West Memphis making a path that is both pedestrian and bike friendly.
