Memphis 3.0 Plan Weighs Scale of Development

The Daily News - The city of Memphis' new master plan, Memphis 3.0, seeks the right balance of large and small scale developments. LRK's Frank Ricks explains in the article that if there's an issue of large scale next to small scale, a transition area with new development is an option that “builds a more complete neighborhood in terms of uses, which then makes it more walkable.”

“These issues of scale – they are real and they are real to the people who live there, if they think something is being imposed on them immediately that is going to disrupt the scale of their neighborhood without understanding there is a benefit to it,” he said. Read more

This 4,883 square-foot home is contemporary in design on the exterior, featuring a brick and cedar facade, and blends a mix of traditional and contemporary elements on the interior. Read more.
