Crosstown Concourse and Nineteenth Century Club Win AIA Memphis Awards

Crosstown Concourse won an Honor Award for Excellence, AIA Memphis' highest honor, at the association's 2018 gala Saturday night. Jurors were impressed with the new atriums created at Crosstown and commented that the building’s design is "malleable to absorb change" and capable of evolving over time. LRK also received a Merit Award for their careful renovation of the Nineteenth Century Club

Historic Mansion Restored into Exclusive Restaurant

The Daily NewsThe Nineteenth Century Club, an 107-year-old mansion on Union Avenue, is being meticulously restored to its former grandeur. LRK's Tony Pellicciotti says the goal of the restoration was to put as many of the architectural elements back into the building because it was so grand and fabulous and fit the purpose of a club, which is similar to an upscale restaurant. The French-Asian restaurant, Izakaya, is set to open in the 16,000 square-foot building in November. Read more

Renovation of The Nineteenth Century Club Nears Completion

The Commercial Appeal The historic Nineteenth Century Club building at 1433 Union, future home to upscale Japanese/French restaurant Izakaya, will host multiple dining rooms, bars, and lounges, each with its own fireplace and ample natural light. LRK provided renovation designs for the 107-year-old building, which is set to open by early November. Read more.  

Restoration of Midtown Landmark Days Away

The Daily News – Located on Union Avenue, the fate of the historic Nineteenth Century Club has been tenuous and at one point, demolition seemed inevitable. Thanks to a new owner, renovation plans are now underway and call for an upscale restaurant and event rental space. LRK is proud to be a part of the project team. Read more.
