Three LRK-Designed Projects Win AIA Tennessee Awards

Three LRK-designed projects were recipients of AIA Tennessee awards at a reception held last night in conjunction with AIA Tennessee’s annual conference in Knoxville. Old Dominick Distillery and Crosstown Concourse won Awards of Excellence, while the Nineteenth Century Club won an Award of Merit.

Daily Memphian - AIA Memphis' annual awards gala was held on Saturday night at Ballet Memphis and two LRK projects received honors. Old Dominick Distillery won the highest distinction, an Honor Award of Excellence, and the O'More Designer Show Home was honored with a Citation. A panel of judges from Richmond, Virginia presented awards to nine projects out of the 48 that were submitted. Read more.

The Commercial Appeal - With the addition to the newly-opened Big River Crossing, the Main to Main project has given a long-overdue facelift to sidewalks, curbs and the pedestrian Main Street Mall, creating a walking and bicycling route for Memphians and tourists to enjoy. D. Canale & Co. to Build Old Dominick Distillery in Memphis

Modern Distillery Age - Memphis-based food and beverage wholesale and distributor, D. Canale & Co., has announced it is building Old Dominick, a public distillery and tasting room in downtown Memphis.  A 1920s warehouse is being renovated for the distillery, which plans to begin operations next summer and open to the public in fall of 2015. LRK is providing architectural services for the renovation. Read more.
