Builder - Newland Communities’ chief marketing officer, Teri Slavik-Tsuyuki, was the recent recipient of a 2015 William S. Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence Award. LRK has worked with Newland Communities for nearly 10 years on communities such as Embrey Mill in Virginia and Waterset and FishHawk Ranch in Florida. Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence has been celebrating architects and builders with a legacy of delivering remarkable residential design and timeless communities. LRK is honored to have received six awards at the Tennessee ASID Design Awards ceremony on October 10, 2014. Talis Park (Naples, FL), the West Osceola Branch Library (Celebration, FL), and Waterset Welcome Center (Tampa, FL) were First Place winners. The National Civil Rights Museum Administration Building (Memphis, TN) and the LIFT Wellness Center (Jackson, TN) received Merit awards, while the Waterset Welcome Center was also named Best in Show!
The Commercial Appeal - LRK won three of the six awards handed out at the 2014 AIA Memphis Design Awards ceremony Saturday night. The National Civil Rights Museum Administrative Offices won an Honor Award of Excellence, the highest honor, and the LiFT Wellness Center and Waterset Welcome Center both won Merit Awards.
