Environmental Graphic Designer

LRK is currently seeking an architectural Environmental Graphic Designer to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of architectural forms and spatial relationships to effectively communicate the firm’s message through print or electronic means. 

Responsibilities will include creation and development of a wide variety of graphics from wayfinding, signage, branding, internal marketing materials, presentations, conceptual packages, architectural renderings and any other graphic related items.  This position requires the ability to deal with ambiguity and work with all types of design teams on short schedules.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or architecture and 7+ years experience in graphic illustration, brochure design, and presentations.  Experience with large format architectural plans and environmental graphics a plus.  Candidate must be detail oriented, have an excellent sense of design and high level of creativity to produce an aesthetically pleasing product.  Must be highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and the latest design software packages.  

Senior Technical Architect

LRK is currently seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join our Dallas, TX office.  This position is responsible for quality control and assurance at all phases of the design process ensuring a high level of technical accuracy of our construction documents.  This person will lead the technical development of architectural projects from concepts to construction administration, including the technical development of team members. 

The ideal candidate must have 15+ years of proven experience in document production, review and development in all phases of the design process.  Must possess a comprehensive understanding of building technology and structures and demonstrated problem solving skills.  The ability to manage complex situations and strong problem solving skills is required.  Experience developing the technical skills of a team is a plus.  Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, InDesign, PhotoShop, SketchUp Pro and Microsoft Office Suite is desired.  Degree in architecture and licensure required.  

Project Architect/Project Designer

Responsibilities include producing high quality design development and construction documents in AutoCAD or Revit from conceptual drawings, assisting in conceptual and schematic design, and managing construction document production with a high level of technical accuracy. Depending on project size may lead a team or produce the project independently.

The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of proven experience in all phases of the design process.  Must possess a comprehensive understanding of building technology and structures and demonstrated problem solving skills.  Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, InDesign, PhotoShop, SketchUp Pro and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.  Professional degree in architecture required.  Architectural license and LEED AP preferred.

Project Manager

Responsibilities include management of client relationships, budgets, and the production team throughout all phases of the project, whether large or small.   Depending on the project size/scope, may manage a team or work independently producing and managing the project.

The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of proven experience in all phases of the design process, preferably with multi-family residential and/or mixed-use projects.  Must possess a comprehensive understanding of building technology and structures; and have outstanding communication and client interaction skills.  Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to lead and develop a project team on a complex project or work independently on a small project are required.  Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, InDesign, PhotoShop, SketchUp Pro and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.  Degree in architecture required.  Architectural license and LEED AP preferred.
