Environmental Graphic Designer

LRK is currently seeking an architectural Environmental Graphic Designer to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of architectural forms and spatial relationships to effectively communicate the firm’s message through print or electronic means. 

Responsibilities will include creation and development of a wide variety of graphics from wayfinding, signage, branding, internal marketing materials, presentations, conceptual packages, architectural renderings and any other graphic related items.  This position requires the ability to deal with ambiguity and work with all types of design teams on short schedules.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or architecture and 7+ years experience in graphic illustration, brochure design, and presentations.  Experience with large format architectural plans and environmental graphics a plus.  Candidate must be detail oriented, have an excellent sense of design and high level of creativity to produce an aesthetically pleasing product.  Must be highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and the latest design software packages.  

Aspiring Architect

LRK is currently seeking a several candidates to fill positions in our Gulf coast offices of Baton Rouge and New Orleans. We are currently looking for Aspiring Architects/Architectural Associates to join our studio in either location. Responsibilities include producing design development and construction documents in AutoCAD or Revit from conceptual drawings, assisting in conceptual and schematic design, and managing production work with a high level of technical accuracy.

The ideal candidate must have 2 to 5 years of proven experience in all phases of the design process, preferably with mixed -use projects and /or multi-family residential projects but not limited to these projects as we have a wide range of project opportunities. The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of building technology and structures; and possess communication and client interaction skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills are required. Proficiency with AutoCad and/or Revit, InDesign, PhotoShop, SketchUp Pro and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Degree in architecture required. Architectural license and LEED AP preferred.
