Harbor Town

A model of New Urbanism since its founding in 1989, Harbor Town enticed a new generation of residents to move downtown, contributing to Memphis’ economic revitalization. The 130-acre community is defined by the Mississippi and Wolf Rivers. Single-family homes, townhouses and apartments embrace pedestrian-friendly streets. A thriving village center with shops, restaurants and offices combines with a hotel, school, marina, and 27 acres of parks and riverfront greenbelts to round out a real town.

SIZE:  130-acre Traditional Neighborhood Development with rental apartments; for sale homes including townhouses, semi-attached homes, and single-family houses; a mixed-use town center with rental apartments above retail and restaurants; school; yacht club; office building; a 50-slip marina; and 27 acres of parks and open space

LRK SERVICES:  modification/implementation of original land plan, development of design guidelines, town architect and architectural design for approximately 60% of all homes; original land plan by RTKL Associates, Inc.
