South Village

With a goal to foster long-term stewardship of the land and protect mountain views, wildlife corridors and wetlands, the South Village master plan creates tightly knit mini-neighborhoods separated by oak savannahs, fields and wetlands. A series of rain gardens treat runoff before reaching the wetlands. The plan provides for a community farm and a school where students combine learning with nature and agriculture. The farm will harvest native plant species to replenish the wetlands in perpetuity.
