Southwest Tennessee Community College New Academic Building

Southwest Tennessee Community College commissioned LRK to design a new two-story academic building for the first expansion in their 30-year history. In reference to the existing campus, the client requested a concrete exterior; and the design team created an asymmetrical tilt-wall system to break up the long façade and help meet the target construction budget. The building design fosters a new campus identity on the interstate and will shelter a newly created quadrangle on its southern façade.
