LRK Welcomes New Architects in Philadelphia, New Orleans, Baton Rouge & Memphis
LRK is pleased to welcome new architects to our staff!
“As we enter a new year, we welcome talent to our team from Philly to Louisiana,” said Amy Smith, LRK Principal and Director of Human Resources. “It’s especially exciting to invite new perspectives to our projects as they begin their careers with LRK.”
Amali Wijesekera joins LRK’s New Orleans office as a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with an architecture degree and concentration in historic preservation and restoration.
Blake Van Buren joins LRK’s Memphis office in single family residential architecture. Before joining LRK, Van Buren worked as an architectural designer for luxury homes as well as hotel and conference center projects in Missouri and Texas.
Lindsey Carpenter is LRK’s Philadelphia office’s newest architectural designer, graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s architecture program. She served as an architectural intern throughout her college years at various architecture firms as well as the New York State Office of General Services.
Kaitlin Schuette joins Baton Rouge’s office as a LEED Green Associate and architectural designer. Schuette graduated from Louisiana State University and received her master’s in urban design from the University of Texas at Austin.
“Continuing to build a talented team of architects, designers, and planners to support our clients and their project opportunities has been a priority of LRK’s since the beginning,” said LRK Founding Principal Frank Ricks. “We look forward to continued collaboration both in and across our offices.”
