LRK’s Sydney Matsumoto and Team Receive Peterson Prize for Measured Drawings
National Park Service – LRK’s Sydney Matsumoto was part of the first-place team for the Charles E. Peterson Prize, a student competition of measured drawings presented by the National Park Service’s Heritage Documentation Program, The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, the American Institute of Architects, and the Association for Preservation Technology. Sydney and her team documented the Vizcaya – Casino in Miami. The drawing will augment the HABS/HAER/HALS Collection of measured drawings at the Library of Congress. Sydney recently became a full-time LRK employee after completing her master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Miami and interning with LRK in the summer of 2018.
