We are honored to announce The Marine Residence has been selected as the winner of the 2022 Best of the South: Preserving Southern Architecture Award, sponsored by the Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (SESAH). The award will be announced at SESAH’s annual conference in Memphis on November 4^th at an awards luncheon held at the 1927 Kress Building. The SESAH awards committee stated, “the rehabilitation and restoration of this unique structure illustrates your team’s ability to bring an important historic structure back to life through creative problem solving while still maintaining defining historic characteristics.”
