Union Row Rebranded as The Walk on Union
Daily Memphian - Union Row, the redevelopment of a 29-acre blighted section of downtown Memphis, has been rebranded as The Walk on Union, reflective of its vison to create a walkable urban community. Developer Kevin Adams said of the location, “We’ve got so many great things people do. You don’t have to get in your car, from the park on the river, to the (AutoZone Park) baseball field, to the FedExForum and everything else we have.” The first $741 million phase of the mixed-use project will comprise 75,270 square feet of retail, 1,168 apartments, 403,544 square feet of offices, including high tech innovation labs, four hotels totaling 575 guest rooms, structured parking for 2,841 spaces, and a park or green space. Construction is set to start first quarter of 2021.
