Downtown Elementary School , Memphis, TN

The Downtown Elementary School operates as a magnet school for downtown residents and children all over the city. The 84,000-square-foot school serves about 700 students in grades kindergarten through sixth and offers a multi-purpose auditorium/gymnasium for community use in the evening. Part of the Memphis Ballpark Neighborhood, the facility gives a boost to the Center City area and provides a desperately needed elementary school for the growing downtown residential population.
