This LRK master plan reinvents this once popular neighborhood as a theater district, preserves the original architectural character, renovates existing retail buildings and calls for a new parking garage, housing, retail and restaurants. Public art opportunities are being explored throughout the neighborhood, including the possibility of monumental murals on the sides of the parking garage. The 3-level garage sits atop an underground floodwater-detention structure designed to alleviate rain flooding throughout the Lick Creek basin.
