The redevelopment of a 29-acre blighted section of downtown Memphis will include apartments, hotels, retail, office, and open space. The plan is pedestrian-focused and will connect several downtown neighborhoods including Uptown, South City, the Medical District, and the downtown core. Construction will occur in three phases. Phase 1 will include more than 800 apartments, 320 hotel rooms, including a 140-key boutique hotel, parking garages, and a grocery store. It will also create 344,000 square feet of office space and 53,600 square feet of retail space.
